Japan Journal: Before leaving

The time is fast approaching for me to leave for Japan. I'm not really sure how I feel about that. Sure, I'm excited and I'm definitely nervous, but I guess more than anything I'm just waiting. Waiting until I've sorted out all the frustrating little details and can finally board a plane and set off. I really don't like the details. It's a shame that an adventure can't really happen without at least a bit of preparation. Still, not long to go.

Where am I going?
Sapporo, Hokkaido, Northernmost island of Japan.

What will I be doing?
Working with FMZero, part of OMF Japan. I will be mainly working with university students with possibly some teaching and children's work too. As yet, I don't really know much more than that. Whatever they want me to do really.

When am I going?
I leave on March 31st and should return on 27th June.

What will I be eating?
Not alot apparently. I'm allergic to both nuts and fish which will certainly make life interesting. I think me and rice are going to become firm friends!

Do I speak the language?
No.

Do I understand the culture?
Not really. Other than Manga, Anime and Samurai.

Do I need prayer?
Hopefully that's obvious. Please pray for the abilty to communicate clearly and for quick relationships to be formed with the team out there.
